Description (optional)

A volunteer is someone who helps with the operation of HackKentucky, this can be taking out trash, cleaning the bathroom, helping run the food line, generally making things easier to operate the event. At the start of every shift there will be a workboard with assignments to be completed. Please take up the assignments that are unmarked. If you have any questions you can ask the event operates: Dan Ross-Li, Rachel Edenfield or Jack Crowdis.

A mentor is someone who helps the attendees code + finish their project. Feel free to introduce yourself to a team and see what their working on. You can decide if you want to dig in deeper and work closely with one team or multiple teams. If you need an introduction to a team please let one of the event operators know. We request that mentors spread out. If you need an introduction to a team please talk to the event operators.

If you sign up as a volunteer or mentor, during your shift we expect you to help as needed. You are welcome to hang out before or after your shift. When you "clock out" please inform one of the event operators.
